You can find out from our download section.

I'll first say it's not a fully FS-X model but can use all the paint done my paint masters.

And more than that I beleive can have fun flying at better framerates.
If interested please have a try.

First install the FS2004 737-800Winglet model and next overwrite the model folder and textures
which is for tranparent parts if needed.

Ofcourse no VC , NO WIngviews since FS-X can merge the MDL files (Should be) and may cause the conflict.

EDIT: Title Changed from
eXtra Test of 737NG.
FS-X Test model.

EDIT2: Title Changed from
737-700,-800 FS-X Model Update

A bit additional info is.

This model is basicly a same model as the model for FS2004.
But I also took off the towing car and Ground staff since when turning .may be hitted by MS towing car.
Then what is done for FS-X?

The fuselage and wings and other materials are changed for FS-X Materials to have the reflection
and shadow of the aircraft itself.

Whats different than a full spec FS-X aircraft which MS SDK says is.
1. Doesn't have a extra texture file for controling the reflection color and amount.
2. Doesn't have bump mapping texture.

So it's like a FS2004 Aircraft with FS-X reflection instead of dynamic shine.
But I guess it's quite enough.

At Sunset ... anyway I haven't installed any add-on's since it's for a test.

I needed to show the shadow of the wings on the fuselage.

Just fixed the Winglet+Noeyebrow model.
Sorry ... also seems I have to do a bit more study for the ground spoilers anyway .
Animation engine Action seems different at FS2004 and FS-X.
FS2004 trys do move smooth but FS-X pops.

And this is what you can get when putted a great paint.
It's Ed's AA which I like.
You can see the sky is reflecting at the fuselage.

This looks very exciting! :D

I'll check if I am able to merge the default VC with this model later.

This is what I can see when setted

interior=B737_800_interior

And copied all the Default 737 texture to the texture folder.
I cannot imagine how to fit the VC models position to the correct place.
But atleast looks like will show up.

By the way ... even the flex wing is not changed to the FS-X style.

At least it is working proof of concept.

Maybe Nick or Jacob would know how to move the VC camera as there was originally a similar problem with the ERJ.

its really a matter of just moving the eye point in the aircraft cfg. ;)

sadly i wish i had a decent system that could handle FSX. the laptop can only do so much.

Or you can just press CTRL+ENTER and CTRL+BACKSPACE to move back and forth.

I didn't know that, thanks for the information.

I will test it in DirectX 10 mode later and report back.

It won't work in DX10 unless the textures are in DDS format.

Uploaded the Test3 model.

Fix is
1. Ground Spoilers action (Returns back smoothly)
2. Nose taxi lights now be off when gears are going up.

I think this will be the all for now.

Didn't FS-X read .DDS if existed?
