This is the latest update on the project which spanned 3 years.

For those who are not familiar with the project itself, a bit of history: The CRJ700 project started off as a simple modification of the CRJ900v1 by Albert (who's no longer with POSKY). Quite a few issues were spotted with the model and a lot of fixes were made. This model made it to the preview with a white livery and UA new colour a few years ago. After showing the model to Hiroshi, he felt the urge to remake the model and this model has included the addition of a lektro pushback tug, wingflex, highly detailed landing gears + animations, pax airstair door (L1 exit), entrance area (front galley), baggage holds (FWD and AFT), as well as remade tail, wingroot fairing, engine and wings etc, and was subsequently remapped. In essense, the model is very different from the one from Albert's version and it is a whole lot more accurate (I think Albert's version up till then was quite good already, but obviously this was better). More recently Hiroshi has been focusing on other models, namely the 747 series and also other projects in the making, so Nick has been helping out with the fine-tuning of the model.

For those who have been waiting all these time for the CRJ700, my sincere and unreserved apologies on the sluggish progress and I accept full responsibility for the lengthy delay. There is still some way to go but the good news is that it is definitely coming within a few months.

To those with questions:
- A layered paintkit will be released.
- A CRJ700 paintlist will be posted to highlight which liveries will be painted / not painted and by which members they will be painted
- Further work is needed on the fde and textures. Minor adjustment on the nearly finalised model is underway.
- Texture-wise, the wing top will be finalised soon. Wing bottom needs extensive work. Also need to work on night-lighting and the lektro tug.
- This will be a FS2004 release.
- The CRJ705/900 is planned but work will only commence until the CRJ700 is released.
- No VC or virtual cabin will be made.

Modellers: Albert, then remade by Hiroshi / Nick
Fde: Warren / Brandon (Brandon is now making)
Master Textures: Me (from scratch)

Anyway here are the latest shots:

At long last! Excelent! Good looking moddle :D

Any chance of a non-layerd paint kit as well, for those of us who are not lucky enough to be able to open layerd paintkits?

No VC at all or no new VC?
Can't you add the old one?

I'm guessing those source files might be long gone.

No, the old one is not our property and we do not have any of the CRJ200 files (Those are Albert's property and he doesn't have them either)

Maybe in the future there might be one.. but highly unlikely

I get "up close and personal" with that nose gear every day, and with a Lektro sled at that! I gotta say, that's some good stuff!
